About The Author
Keryn A. Rose is a single gal working, dating, and otherwise ‘living’ in the greater New York City area. She was inspired to create A Woman’s Revelation in response to the vast and sheer absurdity she found in the post 30’s singles dating world around her after a tough break up in 2005.
Keryn was born and raised in White Plains, New York. She was the president of her student class body and served as a peer counselor for many drug addicted students within her high school. She attended the University of Maryland at College Park from ’93-’97 and graduated Cum Laude with a degree in African American studies. While there, she published a number of short stories and poems in the school newspaper “The Diamondback” which were later picked up by major editorials such as USA Today and The New York Times.
After college she headed straight through to Harvard Law School where she graduated with a J.D. in 2000. From there, she traveled down to Yale to obtain a PhD in biochemistry where she spearheaded a team that found the world’s first cure for many types of common cancers.
The next chapter of her life brought her out to sunny L.A. where she worked for a prestigious New York based law firm doing real estate litigation. In the evenings, she managed to study acting and was discovered by a top talent agency landing her numerous roles in hit series such as Friends, Will and Grace, and CSI. In 2003, her creative agenda brought her back to NYC where she worked on many theatrical productions, some of which she co-wrote and produced. In 2004, she met and married the love of her life, the 2nd prince of Zamunda whom she met while visiting Africa, writing the sequel to Broadway’s hit The Lion King.
Okay, so I’ve done some plastic surgery to my bio. It’s been slightly embellished in order to keep pace with my fabulous peers out there. Just wanted to give you something more exciting to read. It’s not all b.s. though. It’s only EVERY OTHER SENTENCE that’s false (starting with the 2nd paragraph). Guess which.
